Professor Oak created the Pokedex as a digital encyclopedia for a very effective tool for teaching the trainers in the Pokémon world. To complete the game, you need to trade Pokémon Pokedex between both the games, Pokémon Black and White. Both Pokémon black and white mainly have the same plot, while both the games play independently.

In this series, you can catch 156 new Pokémons along with 5 from the previous installment Pokémon Red and Blue.
